Al-Rafidain Center for Dialogue (RCD) hosted researcher Dr. Imad al-Hilali, a specialist in religious studies, in a discussion session titled, "Modern Theology: Problematic Questions on the Emergence of a Modern Theology in the Islamic World." The event, held at the Center's Al-Salam Hall in Najaf, was moderated by Dr. Abdullah al-Janabi and attended by a distinguished audience of professors, academics, and intellectuals.

Al-Rafidain Center for Dialogue (RCD) hosted Professor Dr. Jaafar Najm Nasr, a professor of the Anthropology of Religion at Al-Mustansiriya University, in a discussion session titled, "The Contemporaneity of Islamic Thought." The event, held at the Center's Al-Salam Hall in Najaf, was moderated by Professor Dr. Abdul Amir Kadhim Zahid, a professor of postgraduate studies, and was attended by a distinguished audience of professors, academics, and intellectuals.

Al-Rafidain Center for Dialogue (RCD) hosted the Egyptian Arab thinker and author, Dr. Youssef Ziedan, in an interactive intellectual session at its Sérgio Vieira de Mello Hall. The session, moderated by Dr. Abdullah al-Janabi and attended by a distinguished and diverse Iraqi audience, discussed issues of difference and convergence between Islamic sects, particularly between Shia and Sunnis.

Within its third Ramadan season this year, Al-Rafidain Center for Dialogue (RCD) held a discussion session titled, "The Ministry of Water Resources: Between Iraq's Internal Challenges and Understandings with its Geographic Neighbors." The event hosted Mr. Raed al-Jashami, Administrative Undersecretary of the Ministry of Water Resources; Mr. Hatem Hamid Hussein, Director General of the Planning and Follow-up Department; and Mr. Ali Radhi Thamer, Director General of the National Center for Water Resources Management. The session, held at the Center's Sérgio Vieira de Mello Hall in Najaf, was moderated by media personality Mohammed al-Momen.

The event hosted Engineer Mohammed Sahib al-Darraji, the Technical Advisor to the Iraqi Prime Minister. The event hosted a panel of speakers, including: 1. Dr. Ali al-Rifai: Secretary-General of the Social Democratic Current. 2. Mr. Raid Fahmi: Secretary of the Iraqi Communist Party. 3. Judge Dr. Wael Abdul Latif: Judge and former minister. 4. Mr. Thulfiqar Hussein: Secretary-General of the Al-Madd Current.

On Wednesday, July 10, 2024, Al-Rafidain Center for Dialogue (RCD) hosted His Excellency Stephen Hitchen, the British Ambassador to Iraq, in a dialogue session titled, "Iraq and Britain: A Renewed Vision for Building Balanced Relations." The event, held at the RCD headquarters in Najaf, was moderated by Dr. Jawad Smesim and drew a large audience of academic elites and those interested in political, social, and media affairs.
