Weekly Dialogue Summery – 86th Week
The Iraqi scene suffers from fears in the present time, due to the historical comparisons in the way the former government started, with which the slogans of fighting corruption and eliminating it were raised, without producing any solution to the corruption, just talk. It is no doubt that those fears are reasonable and legitimate, due to the experiences that Iraqi people went through, leading to disappointments during the last years, making the people wonder about the hidden misadministration of the State, combined with many mistakes, breaches and scandals that were announced.

After forming the ministerial cabinet, many see that it is unstable, while others believe that it is not responsive to the aspirations and does not meet the expectations of Iraqi people, and it is far away from the reform tendency. In addition, it is not up to the momentum of the challenges and sacrifices and its life expectancy will be short somehow.

There are several facts unrecognized by the Iraqi society, as the calls and logos are still raised without being reflected on the society to change it towards the best. The society must realize, in all its classes, the real reasons of failure in most of the fields and sectors, such as education, industry, agriculture and health services. Also, disrespecting the law is a kind of lack of progress, since the law is a mean to organize the life of societies and drive them forward.

The public budget of any country is one of the important annual laws, as it shapes the courses of the operational and investment expenditure in the country, in addition to defining the sources of the income and the mechanisms to supply them through different sources, and the planned or the actual deficit. Therefore, the budget represents the financial plan of the State, including the planned expenditure of the ministries and provinces.

Weekly Dialogue Summery – 79th Week
The salty water and corruption are one of the most important causes of the demonstrations of Basra and the events in-between. The government of Mr. Al-Abadi missed an excellent opportunity, such as the support of the Authority in fighting corruption and the public support as well. Now, we find that the government is in a critical situation due to the underperformance of its oversight bodies during the last four years. Some attributed the deterioration of the current situation to reasons that are not related to the executive aspect, but rather to the constitution, parliament and the nature of the Iraqi’s current regime.

Weekly Dialogue Summery – 78th Week
During the last week, discussion was made on the political awareness level that the Member of Iraqi Parliament must have, and the level of positivity and resilience in dealing with the situations related to the field of parliament work, including the formation of the government by the biggest representative bloc, considering that the high awareness of the Member is one of the fundamental things that reflects the culture of the professional objection and the meaningful disagreement, away from the reactive behaviors and tense statements, as the democratic climates and the constitutional rights are the main guarantees and criterion that balance the process of expressing all the different opinions and convections inside and outside the parliament.

Weekly Dialogue Summery – 77th Week
The Authority is always the safety valve and the pacification component in the Iraqi scene, as it always draw the solution steps of the crises. The current situation is moving in directions that exceed the State and its institutions, and it is going out of the constitutional frames, which normally results in more chaos and deterioration. In addition, there will be no solution to the current crisis, whether on political, economic or service level, especially under the regional and international tense conditions that carry many effects on Iraq.

Weekly Dialogue Summery – 76th Week
The food security is the prime measure of defining the government competence, as it is linked to its ability to provide the accepted limit of food to its citizens. Within this context, the discussion was made about the quick fixes that must be done to tackle the situations of the poor people, represented in supporting the ration card and improving it immediately, and to stop following the policies of the International Bank affecting the living aspect of the poor classes.

Weekly Dialogue Summery – 75th Week
Iraq is a sovereign country, and it is fully committed to the international laws. In addition, it is a member in the United Nations. Therefore, it functions according to the international consensus in dealing with the international issues, and its position towards the sanctions imposed on Iran does not get out of the circle of the international consensus in principle, represented in putting the interests of the citizens of each of these states first when taking a position. Some analyzed the Iraqi government’s position saying that it does not mean the hostility with Iran; it is rather included within the same principle above.

The dialogue at RCD about the development topic is repeated, as the it is one of the Center’s principles and objectives seeking to develop the different life sectors in Iraq. Some pointed out that the advancement and development of the country must start with investing our opportunities and internal resources, and opening the door for the foreign investment that can be benefited from through providing an attractive environment in all aspects.
